Mindfulness meditation is NOT about sitting on the floor in a position not suited to arthritic joints and chanting “ommmmm” for hours on end.

Neither is it about emptying your mind.

It is about sitting for short periods in silence with your thoughts, acknowledging your thoughts and moving them to oneside.

Now that is the easy bit! The hard part is finding time to just sit, be still, be silent and not have a book in one hand and a coffee mug in another!
